For those who missed the action
So from the previous entry on the attendance, Nani and SQ went MIA and Ying2 was able to join. And that makes it 15 people present!! All new record. Okay whatever.
We ended up eating Swensens, where Mich and gang did the recce and barged into the restaurant while waiting for the rest to appear. So it was the same Tamil and Mandarin mutual conversation, followed by the arrival of Hilda with the same old angmoh accent, watching movies such as Earthquake, with soks dreaming that ZH got a scholarship, joanna still equipped with the inability to find her way here, ying2 still stucked in NTU for xxx, the 20 min session talking about little nyonya and actresses, and the initial plan to find somewhere with TV to sit down and watch, so on and so forth.
Post activity was initially heading for Minds, then they prefer somewhere free so someone (and i really forgot who's that) suggested going to Marina Barrage, where zh yk and more people seconded the idea. So we split and took public transport down, where sherinah and evelyn bade farewell to us BUT eventually came back after they came to their mind. Walked out of the station and we spent a good 129831289 minutes waiting at the bus stop, inhaling the endless supply of greenhouse gases, and embraced the 120931290830 grams of dust flying onto our faces, while witnessing the spectacular sight of dozens of police cars and friends dashing past our vision with the sirens going on and off.
Eventually time ran out and we decide to head back while open-numbers for the scapegoat to break the news where Evelyn was the lucky one to call, and the best sentence would have to be "we just missed the bus" when the bus is right in front of us.
Okay so to sum up the long entry,
1. Let's not go Marina Barrage at night where transport is inaccessible. (So who suggested the idea? o_O)
2. Let's not call subsequent outings Conclave. It's too secretive that's why we can't reach Marina Barrage. So any reunion or throngs anyone?
What's up from now?
1. Ying2 just asked shall we have a CNY steamboat? So seconders anyone? And where to house large group of people?
2. The next conclave/reunion/throng/meeting/gathering may be held in Vivo cause many are sick of City Hall (which I think it's not bad for sightseeing and night activities) but Vivo is not bad either. Maybe hit st james after that ar =X
3. Time to update the contact list. Many should have changed ur hp/home/address/email etc etc and time to include our studies to keep track too eh
But lastly, thanks to everyone who turned up okay =) Hope there was quite some fun time interacting on the Swensen tables. We gotta find somewhere with round table next time eh.
And for those who pangseh-ed, submit your parent's letter/MC to ZH through email if not you may talk to XH our friendly legal advisor on the charge of breach of trust.
